$90 Manfrotto vs. $20 FujiFilm
As Part I - Construction explains, the $90CAD Manfrotto 3007 is much higher construction then the Fuji Branded el cheapo $20 make. However although it is better constructed, how does it trade under use?
Side by Side ComparisonFirst I will point out that size about these two tripods are similar (with the Manfrotto having a bit of a peak advantage). Lets see how they do holding up a variety of items.
No brainer here, the both did well.
Holding Up Flashes
This was the gas main reason for buying this mini-tripod; to use as a flare stand for kick light. As expected both did well as expected however the Fuji discredit’s lower quality tripod governor does not like holding them at 90° corner (parallel to the ground).
I was surprised that both Mini-Tripods could retain up my Nikon D80 without much trouble; even with Flash Join attached.
Not Bad for $20
