Nikon Re-Releases D3 Firmware Update

As promised, Nikon has released a revised adaptation of its recently withdrawn firmware update. The plc has updated the ‘B’ firmware to V1.11, and has reissued the heretofore withdrawn V1.10 ‘A’ firmware.

This new reworking fixes a photo corruption unmanageable in the firmware update earlier this month.

Hustle Release Summary

With the discovery of an question major that, in some rare cases, resulted in corrupted images captured with endless shooting at 9 fps and RAW 14-bit recording choice, the D3 firmware download released on April 15th 2008 was for now withdrawn on April 18th 2008.  This new firmware download corrects that outcome. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused to any customers who updated their D3 Digital SLR camera with the sometime version.

About this firmware update
This maintenance provides software for upgrading D3 A firmware to Ver 1.10 and B firmware to v1.11. When performing this firmware upgrade, be steadfast to upgrade both A and B firmware. Be aware that proceeding of your D3 is not guarenteed if either A or B firmware is upgraded while the other firmware is not upgraded.

The following improvements have been made in form 1.10.
- A Vignette control item has been added to the shooting menu. For dope regarding supported lenses, see the supplemental handbook.
- A Focus point brightness component has been added to the a6: Focus point learning setting in the Autofocus category of Excise Settings.
