Picture Control + WB's tuning give you a speculator result.
I agree. For macros I use Fuji Velvia a lot often and yes sometimes develop the WB, a bit of tuning brings out some fabulous colors.
As for shell tones, like ZenFr said, D2Xmode1 is very credible.
